whole vehicle from FAW-VW Qingdao branch in Qingdao auto industry new city in Longquan of Jimo city has recently been off the assembly line.

The preliminary construction of FAW-VW Eastern China Production Base is almost done after more than2 years’ hard work.4 major production plants almost completed equipment installation and adjustment and are ready for production. Trial production currently has launched.

Starting in July2015, the base, with about CNY10 billion investment for Phase I project, covers an area of1,108,600sqm. The base with the designed annual production capacity reaches to300,000 will launch full production at the beginning of2018. The base is said to produce one sedan in every60 seconds after being put into production.

The Qingdao auto industry new city, centered with Longquan of Jimo city, has introduced119 key auto projects, with a CNY49 billion total investment. The production value would reach CNY100 billion after put into full production. (Qian Zhuo)

Qingdao MSE with new momentum achieve output value of over100 billion  

Quality and quantity of Innovation &Entrepreneurship (IE) of Qingdao Micro-and-Small Enterprises (MSE) both witnessed growth.24 municipal-level MSE industry parks were registered in Qingdao, and57 are in plan or under construction. They cover an area of14,000,000sqm, attracted about4024 MSEs. CNY100 billion production value could be achieved after launched production.40 municipal-level MSE IE bases were registered in Qingdao; another82 bases are under cultivation. They cover an area of2,590,000sqm. The bases can attract about12,000 MSEs, with nearly50,000 people to be employed. The total annual production value of attracted company can be CNY10 billion.

The Qingdao IE industry parks and bases are turning to innovation-oriented industry park and IE intelligent park from traditional industry park. Innovation-based collaboration new mode, which is supported by key enterprises and cooperated by facility companies, R&D institutions and service agencies, in the park was established. MSE IE bases are pushing construction of smart IE public service platform to encourage share facilities and equipment and father service resources. It also makes great efforts to attract key industry projects, R&D and industrialization institutions to offer IE services to MSEs, including market, technologies, venue, financing, information and recruitment. Qingdao e-commerce deal hit over500 billion in H1

Qingdao e-commerce transaction grew rapidly in the1

half of2017.70 e-commerce transaction platforms in Qingdao brought CNY523.574 billion transaction, up24.4% year-on-year,2.5 percentage points higher than the provincial average.

half of this year, Qingdao e-commerce transaction account for52.3% of all of Shandong. Meanwhile, B2B+B2G of Qingdao e-commerce reached to CNY517.298 billion, up24.1% year-on-year. B2C+C2C of Qingdao e-commerce reached to CNY6.276 billion, up56.7%. Meanwhile, goods transaction reached CNY505.909 billion, up23.0%; service transactions reached CNY17.665 billion, up86.0%.

Qingdao e-commerce has national influence. Member bureaus and individuals from31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions all participate in the deal, which brought expanding influence. According to statistics of the first6 months of this year, the most active traders are from Shandong, Chongqing, Guangdong, Anhui and Jiangsu provinces, their transactions account for69.5%. Traders from He’nan, Zhejiang, Hubei, Liaoning provinces and Beijing municipality all exceed CNY10 billion transaction, accounting for12.1% of all of Qingdao. Traders from Hebei, Shanxi and Shannxi provinces all exceeded CNY5 billion transaction, account for4.7% of all of Qingdao. Qinghai, Guangdong, Shanxi, Jilin provinces and Beijing municipality all witnessed the fastest growth, which all over50% year-on-year. (Wang Yu)
